After School Club
‘Education should develop each child's personality and talents to the full. It should encourage children to respect their parents, and their own and other cultures.’
‘All children have a right to good health and good quality health care. All children should have clean water, nutritious food and a clean environment so they stay healthy.’
We aim to create a welcoming, caring and safe environment for pupils after the school day.
The club is for children from Reception to Year 6 and priority will be given to children of parents who either work or study full time. If places remain, they are offered to children of parents who work part time.
The club runs from 3.30pm to 6.00pm each day except when the school closes early.
There is a maximum of 16 places available and two members of staff each day. There will be a qualified First-Aider available at all times.
The cost of the club is £12.00 per day for each child (or £10.00 per child if there is more than one child attending from same family) which must be paid weekly or half termly in advance. The fee is not refundable. This fee includes a healthy, nutritious snack e.g: tortilla wraps, jacket potato, small chicken curry etc.
There are supervised activities including indoor and outdoor games, crafts, board games and reading.
If you would like to be considered for a place/places, please speak to a member of the office staff. Children will be allocated a place if there are spaces available or added to the waiting list if no spaces are available.
If children are picked up late there will be a fine to pay. This will be £1.00 per minute for the first 10 minutes then £5.00 per minute thereafter.
